Alternative Engineering was founded on the sincere goal of delivering affordable clean energy and modern voice and data solutions to the general public. We are accomplishing this goal by bridging the gap between the technologies available to large budget corporations and today's homes and small businesses.

Originally founded by long time friends Tad Dollase and Randall Hood in 2001, Alternative Engineering has evolved into a consortium of engineers, telecommunication specialists, solar consultants, technical professionals, and contractors. We were officially incorporated in the state of California in 2006.

Alternative Engineering was conceived under the premise of not just building a company but having a positive influence on the world. Our company vision is to: "Positively influence the world by promoting and implementing affordable alternative energy and effective voice and data communications technologies worldwide."

Our short term goals include bringing these technologies to locations throughout California under our Mission Statement: "To simplify the process of design, construction, and implementation of alternative energy solutions and communication technologies for homes and businesses throughout California."
